Below are some Frequently Asked Questions that may save time in you sending an email and waiting for a response:

What Is The Price For A Kitten:

Bubs are $2,800 each, which includes a $200 holding deposit with the remaining due on pick up day by cash or by bank transfer prior to pick up day (to ensure it has cleared) and will:

- Be ready to head home with their new families from 14 weeks of age

- Have three vet checks, first at 10 weeks, second at 12 weeks and third at 14 weeks just prior to heading home

- Have two F3 vaccinations, first at 10 weeks, second at 14 weeks

- Be de-sexed at 12 weeks

- Be pedigree registered with the QLD Feline Association

- Receive regular worm and flea treatments

- Be eating solid foods and using the litter tray

- Come with 6 weeks introductory insurance through PetCover

- Come from DNA cleared Parentage for HCM, SMA and PKD

- Come with our Health Contract Guarantee

How Do You Secure A Kitten:

Once you have sent through information on you, household members, other pets, regular hours out of the home, etc you will be placed on to the Litter Announcement List if I feel you are a suitable, loving slave for one of our bubs.

Litters are usually announced between 5 and 7 weeks old.  By this stage they are out of the birthing box, starting to eat solid food, attempting to use the litter tray, are getting their legs under them and their personalities are starting to show.

do not accept deposits or holds on bubs before they are officially announced, nor do I take deposits for someone to be placed on to the announcement list, or to "jump the queue".   I am very superstitious about counting my chickens before they hatch, and have stuck to my guns on this since I started breeding 15 years ago ;)

Where Are We Located:

We are near Rosewood, SE QLD - approx an hour west of Brisbane.

Can Transport / Flights Be Organised:

I use Bay City Pet Transport for all my kitten transport and flight requirements.  They are a Brisbane based company and have gone out of their wait to look after our bubs and make sure they are safe and sound while waiting for their flights or if the flight has been delayed.  They keep in regular contact with me and the new kitten family throughout the arrival day also and have been very efficient, easy to deal with and very well priced.

Kitten Visits - Can We Visit To Pick Our Kitten / Meet Our Chosen Kitten:

We are a closed cattery and don't allow visitors to the bubs til they are over 11 weeks old and have their first vaccine under their belt.  We are very isolated here on the farm and I am paranoid about viruses being tracked in to the cats.

Most litters are announced between 5 and 7 weeks old - to help match you best with your kitten, I will require information on you, your family, household members, other pets, regular hours out of the home, etc to ensure the bub you choose is the right one for your circumstances - if I don't feel the bub is suitable, I will recommend a more suitable bub from the litter, or recommend you wait for a future litter.

When our kittens leave, the new families are able to pick them up from our home and have the "full crazy old cat lady experience", which includes meeting the parents, as well as usually aunties, uncles, grand parents and even great grandparents in many cases.  Any kittens under 11 weeks old are placed into a quarantine area (as they are normally roaming in the house) til visitors have left, then the house is disinfected and steam mopped before the under 11 week old kittens come back in.
